Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Sanjay Traders account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.
Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the Sanjay Traders app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with your password. Your account is deleted immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at support.sanjaytraders@gmail.com from the address on file, or include the phone number registered to your account, with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or de-identify:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your profile details (address, GST number, alternate contact).
- Your profile photo and any pending profile-change requests.
- Your saved login sessions (you are signed out everywhere).
What we retain, and why
Transaction records — orders, invoices, payments, and credit-ledger entries — are retained in de-identified form. These are required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance and are no longer linked to your personal identity. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and the phone number becomes available for a new registration.
